Question
I have a Kenwood KAC-8104D amplifier and now have gone through 3 different subs. My last sub was rated 1500W/750RMS and some how, I've blown both voice coils with it bridged. I'm running all correct wire gauges and double checked all running of wires, and cannot figure out what I am doing wrong. All settings on the amp are at minimum, but still destroys my subs. I need help!

Answer
distortion, bad installation, or you are using a flea marque box

that amplifier is 300 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms or 500 watts x 1 at 2 ohms maxx  read the manual of the amplifier and understand this is a single channel mono block you can not bridged it

are you using $10.00 sub from waltmart ?
