Audio Systems/CD player problem

Question
Hi.  I have several CD players and when I try to play a MP3 soundbook it only works on the CD drives in my computers.  Not on my Sony living room equipment neither any of my car CD players.  Is there a problem associated with soundbooks recorden in MP3 format?  Other soundbooks are OK.

Answer
Only those cd players that include mp3 play feature can recognize an mp3 signal.  Most newer CD players have mp3 playback feature in them; most older ones do not.  Virtually all PC based cd and dvd drives have mp3 capability; users would not buy them if they did not because they do ripping and downloading from the internet which is always in some form of mp3 or the like.

Check the owners manual for the specifications, then you will know.
