Question
thanks in advance much appreciated...how can i wire up a NAD  pre amp and NAD 216 THX amp to my pc to play stored mp3s at volume thru large hi-fi speakers? Do i connect mic out on pc to amp?  ..it is a home garage setup

Answer
Depending on your PC's soundcard, you will want to use a LINE OUT to the amp. If you do not have that option, the next best thing would be the HEADPHONE out to the amp. Headphone outputs are usually fairly low level. Just don't crank the headphone volume on the PC because it may cause some distortion during playback.
