Question
I have the ONKYO Av receiver TX - SR 573 with a pair of 201 V Bose speakers.  A friend just give me a Sub Woofer from Bose ( acoustimass 25 series II with all the wires).  How can I used this woofer with my receiver?

Answer
Bose, unlike most systems, with a subwoofer is not connected directly to the individual speakers. Everything comes from the subwoofer. You connect the speaker outputs from the receiver to the corresponding inputs on the sub and then out to the proper speakers depending on the setup. Keep in mind, the 201's are not designed for this. They should stand alone without a sub. You may get way more bottom then you really want.
