Question was disconnecting my amp when the remote wire touched the amp and made a spark. I have a 2004 sorento with a factory stereo, the clock under it doesnt turn on either i checked the fuses and relays and they arent burned out. really fustrating everything in the car works but those two things
Answer Check all your fuses. There are fuse blocks under the hood and under the dash in most cars. If you have a VOM check to see if you are getting 12v to the power connection. Then check to see if the remote has 12v when it turns on. Since the clock is not working I am very inclined to conclude you do have a bad fuse and you have not found it yet.
If you need more let me know.
