Question
Hello, I too just recently bought a 2002 Ford Taurus SE and am supposed to have a 6 disk cd changer in it.  I have looked everywhere and can not locate it at all.  Where can I buy one and how and where does it hook up to??  Please respond.  :(

Answer
Is it in the dash?  Many, about that time started to put them inside the radio head unit.  Disc is inserted one at a time; are sucked in and are installed right inside the dashboard unit.

If not, it could be in the trunk, under the front passenger seat or under the dash area tucked up where it is hard to find.

And, of course, just because the front panel has a cd feature button does not mean that the cd player was part of the original installation.

You can buy replacement oem changers at places like this:

New one costs around $250.  Rebuilt one is around $170.

Hope this helps.
