Question I made box for my truck...The dimensions are 9.5 x 15.5 x 21.5...The wood is 3/4 inch...It is a completly sealed box(silcone on the inside and out)have a 10 inch Rockford Fosgate Punch 1...My cousin has 3 amps for sale a kenwood 645 watt 4 channel...A Dual Audio 4 Channel and a 500 watt sony xplod amp(im not sure what channel the sony xplod amp is...which amp would be best for my sub and the box that its in...btw this is a 1990 f150 single cab
Answer If you have only one sub with a single voice coil you only need a single channel amp. OR: you can use a two channel if it has bridging.
If the sub is dual voice coil you can still drive it nicely with a mono amp or bridgeable stereo. But, if you want, you can, also, drive each voice coil with a channel.
Here is a good break out of sub wiring for the options you are enjoying:

Happy woofing.
PS: All the amps are good ones; choose based on the best power transfer to your speaker impedance and wiring scheme.
