Question Hi, I plan on setting up a home studio and im not really sure what i need and what is the best in my case. I would like to set up speakers to my laptop; i believe i need an amp for this. i just dont know how i would set this up to my computer and if thats even all i need. if you have any suggestions or tips it would be highly appreciated.
Answer It is not necessary or do I recommend using passive speakers that require an amp. Shop for active speakers...there are quite a few out there, as much as you want to spend. This will allow you to run straight from your computer to your speakers without your sound getting "colored" by an amp.
