Question I installed a new radio in a 1995 Nissan Sentra. Radio works fine, but my dashboard lights don't turn on. I have two wires that are not connected they are;
Car Radio Illumination Wire: Red/Blue
Car Stereo Dimmer Wire: Red/Yellow
The new radio doesn't have any connections for these wires. Could this be the problem? if so, were do I connect these wires??
Thanks for you time,
Carlos
Answer Here you will find a wiring guide with color coded wire list to help you:

The two wires you mentioned were probably disconnected; the feed both dash and radio unit so they dim at the same time.
If your radio has not dimming capability then you just have to give them power. But if the dash does not lite up there is likely a bad fuse. There are two fuse boxes in the Sentra; one under the hood near the battery box and one inside under the dash between the steering column and the driver door. So look for the fuse that is bad....
Good Luck.
