Question QUESTION: how good are pyle car amplifiers
ANSWER: All quality line amps are good. The technology is very mature and the parts used to make them are readily available and are high quality. Therefore, it is my opinion that any good line amp will do a fine job. The sound quality of an audio system is more a function of the speaker system than anything else. Speakers are a magnitude more variant in sound reproduction that amps. But, back to Pyle: It is a company that has been around for a very long time and is successful so far as I know. Why do you ask?

QUESTION: i have seen and read and been told on reviews that pyle isn't a good amplifier
Answer There are many manufacturers of amplifiers. So, don't buy a Pyle if you don't feel good about them.
You must look at a particular model to make an intelligent view. Most manufacturers have some models that are significantly superior or inferior to other models. I am sure the same is true of Pyle.
I checked a few recent reviews online for a variety of the latest Pyle models and found them in the middle range. Since they are a price driven series I think that is very good for the overall line up.
But, as before; go to another manufacturer if you have doubts. There are many subjective factors in choosing amplifier - or any electronic product for that matter. We don't all want the same virtues in a product. One reviewer, for example, gave the Pyle amp glowing report for its technical quality but downgraded it because one section of the owners manual was hard to understand........
Fortunately, there are many choices of brands. You can choose from many, many other manufacturers!
Have fun.
