Question
Hi I have a turntable that I wish to connect to a mini hi fi system.  Alot of the products do not say if they have an aux in connection.  Do you have any ideas on the best product or a way of getting over this hurdle?

Answer
One thing about the mini systems is that they are meant to be self contained units. You are correct in that many do not have any inputs.

One other thing I should mention is that you will need to find one that has a "phono" input. This is different than a standard auxiliary input because turntables typically require a pre-amplified circuit, and standard aux inputs are strictly line level (for dvd players, cd players, etc...). Unfortunately, this narrows your choices for systems.

A quick Google search of "mini hi fi phono input" gave me some choices:

Sony LBT-ZX80D

Pure DMX-50 DAB Micro System

There were more, but these two can get you started.
