Question
Okay so I was wondering if the Sony MHC-GTZ3i Mini System had an iPod dock included. And if not, could I buy a separate dock that could hook up to it and be compatible with the remote? Thanks.

Yes.  If you read your owners manual

you will see that it can accommodate USB devices only.

Therefore, if you have an MP3 player or iPod with USB interface you can connect and operate from the remote.

Depending on which iPod player you have, there are various USB connecting cables that can be incorporated to accomplish your request but you will need to do some googling to find the right ones.
