Question
when my tahoe is off i can pick up any radio station but once i start the car the dvd player takes over and my radio gets no reception except to listen to dvd no radio stations will pick up

Answer
This is because of a bad installation , you need to go back to the place it was install and tell them to remove the fm modulator out of the vehicle, they don't work on gm radios , you need to buy this interface it is a lot easy to install and the DVD will play when you press the CD/AUX button on the radio
