Question
I have a Dell Inspirion Mini 9 computer I just bought, I have a Sharp Aquas HDTV I just bought. Can I attach my mini 9 to the HDTV? How would I do this and what cables or connections would I use. I have read many answers and I am a bit confused. Some say you wont get sound from you hooked up theater system, some say use a VGA/SVGA cable. I looked on my Mini 9 and the cable connect area is quite smaller connection than on my HDTV. Can you help? And would I have a sound problem?
Thanks, Jan

Answer
You will get the video to your tv w/a VGA cable and you will get the audio to your tv with a 3.5mm to stereo rca cable.  Keep in mind that your computer is not an HD source so don't expect an HD picture.

Any thing low volt. Home audio, home theaters, LANs, cable, phone, cctv. I really enjoy questions regarding the physical layer aspect of low volt (cabling ect). If you think the device is broken, it probably is. I'm not an electronic engineer. PLEASE NO CAR AUDIO QUESTIONS PLEASE NO CAR AUDIO QUESTIONS
