Question
i have an 2005 chevy impala ss my cd player isnt working .i wanted to get another stereo put in but i dont want to lose my functions that come with the original stereo model far as controling the alarm settings ,resetting the tire pressure etc.. is there a system that i could buy that would do the same things?

Answer
only factory radio can do that,also the cluster,warnings,and air bag will stop working if you replace the radio

you need to buy a data buss interface to replace the radio they are about $120
you sill have other feature problems it will be better to get a factory radio

Please year and model of the vehicle i need all the details I'm a car electronics installer with 22 of experience.
