Question I just purchased a 2008 Ford F150 with the stock navigation, stereo system, has a plug for the audiophile speaker in the rear, underseat, dealer come up with the audiophile box, plug it in and it doesnt work? The stereo has controls to turn sub on & off but nothing, apparently?? "the factory" told the dealer that unless the truck was ordered with audiophile it wouldnt just plug and play? Again it is the navigation, highend stock radio?? Dealer BS'ing me??
Please and Thanks in advance for your input
Answer all vehicles have the cables there but if the radio is not audiophile
this is not going to work
the factory radio needs to have 3 big gray plugs at the button of the unit last one is free ,
that is the subwoofer
other way to test it is keep the treble half way and turn the bass all the way up
play a song if you have decent low frequency, it is NOT audiophile
audiophile RADIOS GIVE YOU ONY HIGNS AND MIDS ON THE FRONT SPEAKER AND BASS ON THE REAR SPEAKER
