Question
how do i get the  fuzziness out of the  stock radio station when the car is  running.when the car is off its fine, what cause that...is it my stock radio in my chevy impala 2000..please help........

Answer
Please take it into a repair/install shop and have them look at it.

Since it sound fuzzy only when the engine is running it may be associated with the alternator system.  There are a couple of capacitors that are mounted on or near the alternator in your impala that might need to be replaced.  They are not expensive to replace if they are the problem.  If you rev the engine up there should be an increase in the fuzzy sound; if not, it may be something else that is causing this.

Also, there could be other interference matters going on.  A good shop can check it out in seconds.

You need to find out what is going on before replacing the stock radio because just putting in a new radio may have the same problem occurring.

Hoping this will help. Let me know if you need more ideas.
