Question
I would like to add a video out to my factory dvd player to have the ability to hook up other monitors.  Has anyone done this?  I am fairly adept at electronics but would just need some guidance.

Answer
First you must decide where the output connections are at the dvd player and if they are easily accessible; you may have to splice some wires and then run some video and audio cables to the monitor(s) that you want to add.

Please go to

http://www.installer.com/video/index.php

where you may find some adapter boxes that will facilitate making the connections that you want to keep going.

If you have further questions let me refer you to Ernesto for a second opinion.  He is very experienced with these kinds of add-ons.  You can reach him at:

Hope this helps.
