Question
I happily used a cassette adaptor to play my ipod in my 2005 prius for a long time.  Recently, the audio quality has deteriorated and sometimes I get a high pitched squeal instead of music.  I thought it was my adaptor, but a new one did the same thing. Is there anything I can do without a huge investment in an aux box solution?

The Tape player was made to play tapes only that unit you are using is damaging the radio and it can get stock on tape only
that is the reason why dealers void your warranty if you insert 90 or 120 minutes tapes  
for ipod there are a lot better options
