Expensive woofer but rugged and can handle the power.

is the page with important specifications. Most important to take note of is impedance and sensitivity.

Sensitivity = 87.5 db - not bad but will take more power to get good performance than those that are around 90 - 92db.

Impedance = 4 ohm, dual voice coils.   You must put them in parallel (for 2 ohm load on the amp) or in series (for 8 ohm load).

You need a mono amplifier to drive it that can produce a good 500W or more into a 2 ohm load for best performance.

But, for good performance it will be important to load it into a proper box.

Above is the manual for this speaker.  It has some box designs that you can use; however, this is an automotive speaker and these boxes are intended for optimizing performance in auto environments.  They will work in home environments okey, but with less than optimum performance in the lowest frequency response.

I will leave the rest of the system design up to you. Let me know if you have further thoughts.
