Question
QUESTION: how do i put an after market cd player in a 200 ford taurus sel with the mach system, its one oiece with the ac. is there anyway to do it. the "premium stereo" is terrible you turn it up more than a quarter of they way and its real muddy sounding

ANSWER: manual or digital ac controls ?

---------- FOLLOW-UP ----------

QUESTION: digital ac controls, thats why im asking. its all one unit i was wondering if theres a way i could seperate the two and put in something better.  i know theres a kit for the manual controls but the digital is combined both ac and audio. and i cant find a way to install and aftermarket unless i totally install a new headunit somewhere else and run all new wired and speakers for it. but the car isnt worth doing that to. its a 2000 sel with every option

any good brand amplifier, 4 or 5 channels
alpine kenwood pioneer,kicker,forgate infinity jbl
anything with 35wx4 or 50 wats x4 will do the job
you can also add a mpr or ipod interface to the factory radio
