Audio Systems/having problems getting my amp to work

Question
Ive got all my wires ran and everything but im having a hard time find a spot for my ground. Do you have any suggestions on where i should hook it to?

Answer
I need more information.  Are you talking about a mobile amp or a house audio system - or marine????

If car, you can ground it near the installation of the amp with a screw hole drilled into the car chassis; file down the surface so that the ground wire has a large bare metal area to give you a really big ground.

If a home system you should use the three prong power system and make sure the amp has the three prong cord on it.

If this does not solve your problem, let me know more about your system; such a car and amp make, model, etc.
