Question
Hi Cleggsan,
A question about my Audison LRX 5.1 MT amp which i would like to install a Focal 165 KRX2 in front and Focal KP2 on the rear doors. Will it match the impedence in front with the KRX2 being 2 ohms speakers? Thanks in advance.

Answer
The main channel amplifiers are rated at 4 ohms. The sub amp is rated at 2 ohms load.

I would be very cautious about using a 2 ohm load on this amplifier. It would be okey for low power settings but for car the power is usually running at pretty high levels.

But, contact with the manufacturer and ask them directly.  They should know; they are the ones who run tests on it before they submitted the  CEA specs at:

All the best.
