Question
I bought a 1999 Chrysler concord. You turn on the radio or cd player and the station comes up and on cd that the song is playing but no sound will come out. can you tell me what might be the problem

Answer
I am quite certain the amplifier is out.  This model car, most of them, as there were many different audio systems, but this one probably has, the external amplifier fed from the head unit.

Look for a blown fuse somewhere or a bad ground at the amplifier or a loose wire, etc.   The amplifier is mounted either under the passenger seat or up under the dash nearby the head unit or could be under the kick panel - you may have to look for it.  It may be difficult to get to.

Good Luck,
