Question
Ive been looking to do a few upgrades and have already done some; ive put in a AQ1200d amp; and 2 10'' kicker l7s; with a new kenwood headunit. The problem im running into is voltage drops; i knew this would happen. I know i need a new battery; my question is; what specs should i be looking at; im eventually going to upgrade the system again and was wondering where i can get a "bolt on" high output alternator

Answer
You will want to be looking at the current capacity (amperage). Be sure the alternator can handle the existing vehicle and the additional audio gear demands at the same time.
