Question
I have a 1998 Sebring and am wondering if the factory units usually have an RCA output on them or if I need to get a new head unit in order to install a system. Thanks.

Answer
Most OEM radio systems do NOT have rca outputs.

But, you can add them by using a hi-low kit.  This installs on the speaker outputs and reduces the voltage output and impedance such that you can connect to an external amp or sub system.

If the head unit is an original you may be better off just replacing it with a new aftermarket - this will give you better sound quality perhaps.
