Question My speakers are not marked + or - . How can you tell which is which?
Answer Plus (+) means that a positive going voltage will cause the cone to move outward.
So, use a 9v battery and connect the battery across the two speaker connections. If the cone moves outward, the plus terminal was chosen. If the cone moves inward, it is reverse and the terminal connected to the minus terminal of the batter is the positive terminal of the speaker.
