Audio Systems - car raiod code

Question
hello i have changed my battery in imy car and i need the raido code to here the raido model # cm5901  please help me with my problem

Answer
This is an Alpine unit with anti-theft coding. The code for restore of operation comes with the car when new. If you bought the car used you should have not taken delivery of it without this code.

You should check the materials with your registration or car book to see if the code is in there somewhere.

If not, you must contact the car dealer if the radio came stock with the car. If an aftermarket radio you must contact with Alpine.  There will be a charge for retrieving the code and you must provide the model number and serial number of the unit and be able to give proof of legal ownership.  If it turns out to be a stolen product the police will be knocking on your door!

There are some who claim to be able to get the code for you.

is one such place and you can google for others. Many of them are scams, so be careful in your search.

Let me know if you need more.
