Question
I have a a 2001 Dodge Stratus R/T and one day I slammed my car door and I suddenly heard a very loud static noise. I removed the key from the ignition and the noise persisted. Now the radio will light up and count but it will not produce any sound. I tried hooking up an aftermarket cd player and I got the same results...
PLEASE HELP ME!!!

Answer
there is a factory infinity amplifier inside the door
this unit move, or got damage and create a short somewhere on the infinity audio system

there is also a relay on the right side of the radio and a fuse for the factory amplifier
