QUESTION: all 6 lights are lit when the radio is on. If i switch to cd the light corresponding to the disk trying to play will blink. If you try to change the disk by pressing the buttons on the changer you can hear it try to load and the light will blink after 20 seconds i get an error code on the head unit.

Answer
ok cd changer is not in bad shape , that is good most of this are always in worse conditions

it looks like the disc is just stuck in the unit ,maybe there is a copy disc with a paper label that just open or there is something else inside the unit,
it will be a good idea to take to a repair shop,
or you can open and see why the cd is stuck it sounds like it is something very simple
