Audio Systems/Unwanted shuffle

Question
The CD player in my 1999 Toyota Camry (manufacturer unknown) plays the tracks on all CD's in what appears to be random order - certainly not in sequence.  Any thoughts?  Thanks!

Answer
Yes, that is what happens when the random button is operational.  Look carefully on the display window and you will see an indication over the button that operates the random function.  It likely has three operation when pressed sequentially; random on disc and random among discs. It may be integrated into the repeat button as well.

Hope this solves your problem.
