Question
Hello on a equalizer does the fq you increase or decrease effect the fqs around it like mind says 50hz(band1),150hz(band2),400hz (band3) so if I minus 6 db from 150 does that -6 dbs from 50hz-400hz? Thanks:)

The eq circuit it a tuned or resonant band that has some spill over.  You can see these eq curves at:
