Question
Hi,
I'm driving a Ford Focus 2000 and i want to install a new In-dash receiver only... The problem is that my receiver has one ground wire and my focus has two!
Which one do I plug? Is it better to try to plug the ground wire from the receiver to the chassis?

Thank you for reading!
P.S. I looked for wiring diagrams, and according to my research, the color code corresponds to a Ford focus 2002 or 03... is that possible?

thanks again

Answer
Here is the wiring chart for the 2000 Focus:

Then, you must get the wiring chart from the radio you are installing and make sure they are matched function for function, not color for color.

You are best off to purchase a wiring harness for your car which allows convenient plugging to the radio.

You only need one ground if that is all the new radio has....

If you give me a model number I can give better assistance..........
