Audio Systems/speaker crackles

Question
I have a 1984 Corvette that I bought new and the right rear speaker has started to crackle. Every thing is stock as sold in 1984 (Boise System) and I don't know how to trouble shoot and fix. I have little to no experience with electronics so you must keep your answer very simple (if possible). Hope you can help me!

there is a factory BOSE amplifier inside the box with the speaker,
this amplifier is bad because the capacitors inside are leaking,if i tell you anything else i will confuse you   so it is better to go visit my friends site, you can buy one on ebay or send your amp to be fix
