Question
I have a Flat screen with a set of 2 rca outputs,a 5.1 surround sound system with 3 sets of rca inputs ,and also a blu-ray player that only has 1 set of Rca outputs. Each set consists of left and right channels. How would I go about hooking this system up?I want the tv and blu-ray to output to 5.1

Answer
I hope I am understanding the question correctly. I would use the primary set of audio outputs for everything. Disable all of the TV outputs and turn the volume of the TV to max if applicable. Once you have plugged in any external units the volume should come from the same outputs.
