Question
What is the 12v constant wire color in a 2003 GMC Envoy?  I am trying to hook up an aux audio input and it says to hook the yellow wire to the 12v constant wire

Answer
Constant 12v is from battery.  You can run your own wire directly to the battery or any other circuit that is going directly to battery.  Be sure that it is fused somewhere, as well.

For this model, the constant and already fused line is ORANGE color.  This wire will be coming into the radio compartment area of the dashboard.

If you have a vom be sure and check it first.  Manufacturers change the colors from time to time without any warning.
