Question
Do you know what the power wattage for out put that the factory radio puts out? Does each speaker have its own amp?
There are several different radios used in 2003 Liberties depending on which model Liberty and choices made when purchased new. But, typically, factory radios are not huge power unless it is a custom system such as JBL, Infinity or some other brand that was part of the promotion when the car was new. Yes, there is a separate power amp for each speaker.
Sometimes the unit is all in one and mounted in the dash. Sometimes there is an external power amp that contains the 4 amps for the 4 speakers.
This is not your model but it will give you an idea of what a single unit system might look like and how it is installed in a Chrysler product.
