Question
"Hi, I recently bought some Focal 807v speakers and was wondering which is the better
amp for it.  A Yamaha RX V1065 or Marantz SR 6003.


Answer
The Yamaha has a setting for 6 ohms on the front amps.  This might be a good idea as the Focal speakers have an impedance dip that goes down to 4.2 ohms.   This means you may get a better power transfer from the Yamaha.

For sound quality they would be very similar.
For all the other features, for which they are both fully loaded, you will have to make your own decision.

As I donot make equipment recommendations, my comment is applied towards technical compatibility or non-compatibility.
