Question
I need to get access to the back of my Microsoft Sync w/ hard drive in my 09 ford escape Ltd. I have not been able to find any information on removing the system from the dash and wonder if you know where to begin?

Answer
Most Ford radios require a removal tool to get them out.  The unit fits inside a sleeve box and the pressure clips on the side must be inwardly depressed to let the unit slip out.

You can find the removal tools online with a search or go to:

www.installer.com

where you can find tools of many kinds.

Also, just google for "ford radio removal tool" and you will find some interesting places to look.
