Question
QUESTION: We purchased the car new. Rarely if ever used the CD player choosing instead to listen to the radio ( XM ). About three weeks ago my wife used the key bob remote to unlock the front door and the CD player started to run ...sounding like it was trying to load or eject a CD...there is no CD in the player. Now every time we use the remote to unlock the car or start the car, the player is activated and runs for about 20 seconds. Both the CD player and radio are both part of a one piece module mounted in the dash. Is there a simple way to remove the module w/o damaging the dash or the module?

ANSWER: if you insert a cd on the radio and works ok there is no reason to remove anythithe keyless entry was program to the radio and seats memry   erase and reprogram de remotes agaun this time dont program owner recognition program only the keyless entry and doors good luck

QUESTION: Thanks for the quick response...great idea to reprogram the the remotes...however we can not load any CDs into the player even though it does run when either the remote is used and/or the car is turned on. We know that there isn't a CD jammed in the player but we don't understand why it does work other than to run when the keyless remote is activated and/or the car started. I would like to get a look at the player and try to repair it if I can but I don't want to damage the system by making a mistake when removing it from the dash...

Thanks

Answer
in that case the cd got stuck ,sometimes it happens with out discs
did you replace the battery  or have done any service to the vehicle ?
this a good unit and the radio don't go bad by itself

to remove the radio there is one screw in the middle under the radio , you need a 30 inch long screw driver
good luck
