Question
I have a 2003 Toyota Avalon. The CD player will not eject the CDs or play. I was able to get one disk out of the player by using suggestion from online search for help but I cannot get the remaining disks ejected. Not sure how to get it repaired
There are so many possible causes. In the worst case the whole deck must be pulled out, the covers removed and the discs extracted physically one by one.
In the best case a reset will restore the eject mechanisms and it will function normally. A reset is accomplished by removing total 12v power from the unit for at least 15 minutes. Either the main fuse to the audio system must be pulled or one of the battery terminals lifted to kill power to the whole car electrical system.
You can google for additional hints on this issue.
If the changer mechanism is defective it may need replacing or at least a repair.
