Question
hi i have recently brought a Pioneer DJM 700 Mixer, i am really keen to record my mix's onto my computer i see the RCA recording outputs and the digital RCA output, which is gona be the best way to do this quality wise? because there's no RCA or a dgltal RCA inputs on my PC and secondly i all have albalton live 7 on my PC but no MIDI input connection onthe PC, are there adaptors for these issue's and do they compromise the quality iam looking for. i have heard of the external sound cards, sounds great but do they normaly have those inputs?
Any info regarding these problems would be great!

Answer
No to the sound cards question. They are more for good sounding outputs than inputs. You need an audio interface between the mixer and computer such as the Digidesign Mbox. They are relatively inexpensive and come in different levels to suit your needs.
