new blu-ray;samsung bdp1590
home theatre;panasonic sa-ht75
what would be the best way to get the maxim out of this set-up.the blu ray is new,$150.would i be ahead to return this blu ray and just upgrade to a theatre in a box or can my existing system give satisfactory results.i`m not looking for an ultimate system but middle of the road would be nice.thx in advance

Answer
I'm not sure what you mean by "satisfactory" results, as this is a subjective opinion.

From what I've seen, you'll only be able to get stereo audio from the BluRay player into your Panasonic (you won't have surround sound). I'd look for a surround receiver instead of a "theater in a box" because you have more input/output options. The "Boxed Theaters" are notorious for not being able to add anything else to the system.

With a new surround receiver, you'll be able to use the existing speakers you have, and use the BluRay player to it's fullest.

If stereo audio is OK for you, you just need to plug the stereo audio outputs on the BluRay to the audio input on the back of the Panasonic. You will have to send a separate video line to your TV.
