Question

remotes
Hi- I've attached a photo to help with my question. The Panasonic remote at right is what I use to play and record videotape, and the Time Warner remote at left is to watch TV and cable. Somehow I have mentally lost the combination of buttons to press to play back a video. I thought I should select channel 3 on the TW remote, then alternate between VCR/TV (the button at top, 2nd from right) on the Panasonic remote. But it's not responding. Batteries are OK on both devices. VCR (I believe) is set to channel 3. Can you help me figure this one out? Thanks!

Answer
For the Panasonic tv the button for tv/vcr does toggle between tv reception and video input.  If you have more than one video input it will cycle through than all.

If you have the outputs of the vcr connected to the video input on the Panasonic tv that is what will work.

For the TW I have no idea. You will need to consult with your cable company but mostly they are connected to the inputs of your vcr.  Check out your connections and make sure you know how they are connected so you can command the remote accordingly.

And, good luck.  Happy viewing.
