Audio Systems/6 cd player in trunk of 1996 Jaguar

Question
The cd player after a few seconds displays "no disc".  This has just started in the last two days...no music

Answer
If this is original player you are very lucky it has lasted so long.  It is not common for the cd player or changer to go for more than a few years; sometimes only 2 or 3 years before breaking down. The reason is the mechanism inside the player is very delicate and the vibration, heat, cold, humidity, etc. is very hard on them.  You may need to replace it.

Take a look here.  You may be able to just replace it with this one:

Hope this helps.
