Audio Systems/VES manual

Question
I just purchased a 2006 Dodge Ram with a DVD player but I can't get any sound. The VES manual and the head phones were missing so I don't know what I should do.Is there a website that I can get a manual?

Answer
You can get these manuals from a dodge/chrysler dealer - sometimes; depends on how cooperative they are. I found a few places with a google search where you can download it. Some of the downloads are e-book files, however.

You should be able to use any type of headphones so long as they have the correct jack.

Just a note: When purchasing an automobile always have the seller go through and show how everything works and ask for the manuals.  Sometimes if an unsatisfactory result is offered by the seller you would move on to another purchase.  After all there are many other sellers of the same vehicle or one similar who may have all that is needed and can prove that everything works the way it is supposed to.

Best wishes.
