Question
I've been asked to add a pair of 12's and amp to the factory system in a 2007 Chrysler 300. Somebody else started the project and did it improperly. I'm going to set up to the way it was from factory and start over. How do I add this amp & sub set with the factory system with out Disabling any of the Existing components? Power and ground are no problem. I still need a remote turn on for the amp and signal (RCA'S). Thank You for you're time.Paul

Answer
Best way is to use hi-lo adapter.  Take the audio off the speaker outputs; the hi-low adapter will scale down the signal level to match the input sensitivity of the sub amp.  Alternatively, you can use a sub amp that has "hi level" inputs.  Check the specs of the amp for this feature.
