Audio Systems/HDMI Questions

Question
Samsung LCD TV with 1 HDMI input. No HDMI out.
Comcast cabel box with 1 HDMI output.
Sony stereo system. No HDMI, although existing DVD player does have 1 HDMI out.
I would like to get WIFI to my TV from my computer network. To do this, I am either going to get a BluRay BD590 or a PS3 system. I believe both of these have 1 HDMI out,but no in. I do not want to have to turn on the BluRay or the PS3 every time I watch TV. What is the best way to get HDMI to my TV from all items? Do I need a splitter?

Answer
Can't you run the component outputs from the cable box?  That will leave the tv hdmi input for the connection to the computer.  If you have two video inputs then the second one can be used for the stereo/audio unit.

If you decide to go with a splitter you can find them easy with a google or google shopping search.

Best wishes.
