Question
what wires go with what when installing a cd player in a 1999 mazda protege with no wiring harness?like i only have the back of the cd players wires and the wires from the car but i dont know which ones are for the car speakers and which ones do i connect them or match them with help me please

Answer
Here is the color coding for the wires in the '99 Protoge:

Then, you must get the color coding from your cd player from its installation manual.  If you do not have the manual you can usually download from the Internet.

Also, you can get a wiring harness from places like Walmart or installer.com or www.crutchfield.com and such sources.  You don't have to use a wiring harness but it is helpful in the event the radio must be pulled out for any reason.

Hope this helps.
