Question
I am running an aftermarket amp & sub to my 06' escalade, it has a bose system in it. where do I locate the wires to connect the line level so i have a signal. i am using a pac sni-45t & have heard the best place to tap is the amplifier under the center console. where are the wires located? What is the color code +/- for connection.

Answer
Try looking here for wiring color codes:

But the Bose systems are always non-conforming and do not mix well with other aftermarket stuff; the voltages and impedances don't match as Bose does not follow the international standards for such things.  I am not familiar with the system Bose puts in this vehicle but in most vehicles the Bose amps must be ripped out and replaced with conventional products.  Same with Bose speakers. In fact, many Bose systems have an amplifier built into the speaker basket for final power push.

I presume the pac sni-45t will work for you but can't guarantee it to be so.

Would you get a second opinion from Ernesto on allexperts? He really knows this interface question well.  Tks.
